面对面的课程
In a face-to-face course 100% of the course is conducted on campus in the traditional classroom/lab with an instructor.

在线 courses at Hawkeye are held in two varieties: 在线 and 生活/缩放.
在线
In a fully online class 100% of the course is conducted online and does not meet in person or at designated times. Participation in regular online instructional activities is required.
The course syllabus and instructional materials are provided online.
Exams may be proctored using remote proctoring software online.
生活/缩放
In a 生活/缩放 course students are required to attend class through Zoom at designated days and times according to the course schedule. 学生 are not required to come to campus for class meetings.

在线 courses computer requirements: A computer, high-speed internet, web camera, and microphone are needed for 在线 courses.
混合课程
A hybrid course, also known as a blended course, combines both online and in person components. 在混合课程中, students typically complete a portion of the coursework online, either through fixed time (synchronous) or unfixed time (asynchronous) online classes, and also attend in person classes or other forms of on-campus learning.
Hybrid courses at Hawkeye are held in three varieties: Live/Campus + 在线, Live/Campus + 生活/缩放, 生活/缩放 + 在线.
Hybrid Live/Campus + 在线
In a Hybrid Live/Campus + 在线 class, students must attend face-to-face meetings on designated days and times on campus as listed on the course schedule and regularly participate in online instructional activities but not at designated, 特定的时间.

Exams may be proctored either in-class or using remote proctoring software online.
Hybrid Live/Campus + 生活/缩放
In a Hybrid Live/Campus + 生活/缩放 class, students must attend face-to-face meetings on designated days and times on campus as listed on the course schedule and attend virtual meetings on designated days and times via Zoom also on specific days and times.
The course syllabus and instructional materials are provided online.
Exams may be proctored either in-class or using remote proctoring software online.
Hybrid 生活/缩放 + 在线
In a Hybrid 生活/缩放 + 在线 class, students must attend face-to-face meetings on Zoom designated days and times as listed on the course schedule and participate in unscheduled online instructional activities.
The course syllabus and instructional materials are provided online.
Exams may be proctored during the scheduled class meeting times or using remote proctoring software online.
